Building Permits Issued for the Painted Bride Site

The Painted Bride at 230 Vine St. in Old City had long been a center for the arts community before the organization decided to leave their physical home. After years of back and forth and other assorted drama, commercial building permits were issued earlier this week for a six-story, 85-unit mixed-use apartment building from Atrium Design Group. This is rising on a stretch of Vine St. that is nearly unrecognizable from when the first plans were proposed for the site years back. How are you feeling about the outcome here?
