Franklin Square PATCO Station Open Again After 46 Years

The $29-million makeover will reconnect Chinatown, Old City and more to this key commuter line

After last welcoming riders back in 1979, the Franklin Square Station of the PATCO line is back open. We went to the ribbon-cutting ceremony today to get a little taste of the history and the future of this station. We are absolutely thrilled to see this back open - and hope it serves as an example for other out-of-use stations across the region and beyond.
